May 2023 – Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Vaibhavam

  On May 27th, 2023, Shiva Temple Manchester collaborated with the North West Telugu Sangam, UK, to host “Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Vaibhavam.” Lord Srinivasa, accompanied by Goddesses Sridevi and Bhudevi, graced Manchester with their divine presence. More than 450 devotees attended the celestial wedding ceremony, featuring Abhishekam, Alankaram, Keerthana, Srivari Kalyanam, and Veda Aasirvachanam.   The meticulous execution of the wedding rituals, accompanied by explanations of their significance, left the devotees spellbound. The event showcased the unity of diverse communities, with attendees from Telugu and Tamil backgrounds actively participating in the divine celebration.

March 2023 – Raja Alankara Pooja to Lord Subramanya

On March 18th, 2023, Shiva Temple Manchester resonated with the fervour of devotion during the Raja Alankara Pooja to Lord Subramanya. The event, attended by 300 devotees, featured a special Vel Pooja, showcasing the significance of the Vel (Spear) in Lord Muruga’s hand. Live music from Shri Mukesh and Shri Shyam Nagarajan along with Bhajan singers added a melodic touch to the spiritual proceedings.

The Shiva Temple Manchester grand inaugural monthly Pooja was attended by prominent community leaders and featured in local news. — Invitation to Devotees— Dear All, It is with great reverence and submission to the almighty Lord Shiva we are starting the process towards building a Shiva Temple in Manchester, this Temple will be built along the lines of South Indian Temple architecture, the task in hand is huge but we are determined in our thought and efforts, with the grace of God and your support we will achieve this monumental goal As a first step we are planning monthly Poojas/prayer meetings and the first prayer meeting is scheduled for the 23rd April, Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
