The celebration of Maha Shiva Rathiri on February 18th, 2023, transcended mere festivities. Held at the Manchester Health Academy, this event drew more than 300 devotees. The presence of the Mayor and Mayoress of Trafford, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Boyes, elevated the spiritual ambiance. The ceremony included Linga Abhishekam, soul-stirring Thirumurai recitals by Srimathi Kalaivani Radhakrishnan and Dr. Ashwin, and devotional Bhajans by the Kannada Bhajana Mandali team.

 

Fifteen specially imported Shiva Lingams from India enhanced the sacredness of the event. Devotees offered a plethora of prasadam to Lord Shiva, creating an atmosphere of divine abundance and devotion.
